Kamala Rose is a New York based singer and actress. She recently finished studying at the William Esper Studio with David Newer.

Most recently, she performed with Broadway Bods as Schwarzy in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and premiered the role of Lianna in Reversal with The Pressure Players.

In the summer of 2019, she played Penny in the musical Date Me, Do Me, Dump Me at the Broadway Comedy Club as well as Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods with Studio D’Ottavio. Other credits include Young Frog, Rooster, and Mrs. Pasakova in The Cunning Little Vixen (Opera Steamboat), Mrs. Fezziwig in Scrooge and Gilbert and Sullivan, and Annina in La Traviata (Amore Opera). 

In the 2016 season, Kamala traveled to Urbania, Italy as a resident artist with Si Parla, Si Canta. She performed scenes from Le nozze di Figaro, Il matrimonio segreto, and La figlia di Iorio. In 2017 she attended the International Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Germany where she performed in scenes as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and First Lady in Die Zauberflöte. 

She completed her BM in Vocal Performance at the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University. As a member of Syracuse University Opera Workshop, Kamala Rose performed the roles of Sorceress in Dido & Aeneas, Kaylee in Speed Dating Tonight! and Amaranth in Thyrsis and Amaranth.
